The National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) has urged stakeholders in Nigeria’s health sector to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) to improve healthcare delivery.The Director General of NIPRD, Dr. Obi Adigwe, made the appeal while presenting a paper at the 4th Annual Scientific Conference of the Nigerian Academy of Science. He disclosed that NIPRD had implemented strategies to encourage the use of AI and machine learning in healthcare delivery.
