Tencent Holdings launches AI-powered hearing aid

Abiding by their pledge to contribute to society, Tencent Holdings has introduced a new AI-based hearing device that will provide better speech intelligibility and sound precision. The device has been developed by Tencent Ethereal Audio Lab in collaboration with the hearing aid firm Shenzhen Eartech Company. As compared to the other devices available on the market, this device offers an 85% improvement in sound quality. At the launch of Tencent’s hearing aid, Silver Hair Technology Lab, along with Shenzhen Eartech, has pledged to donate one AI-powered device to a hearing-impaired individual in the rural areas for every device sold during the presale.
