6th GCC eHealth Workforce Development Conference focuses on digital health advancements in MENA region

The 6th edition of the GCC eHealth Workforce Development Conference (eHWDC 2023) is set to bring together leading experts in digital health and healthcare in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The event, taking place from October 31 to November 2, 2023, will focus on critical digital health topics such as public health, health information exchange systems (HIEs), data governance, artificial intelligence, and workforce development. Organised by the GCC Taskforce on Workforce Development in Digital Healthcare (ZIMAM) and MWAN Events, the conference aims to promote a sustainable digital healthcare ecosystem through collaboration between government recruitment agencies, educational institutions, healthcare trainers, technology vendors, and healthcare organizations. HIMSS, represented by its CEO Hal Wolf and regional director John Rayner, will also participate in the event, highlighting the importance of digital maturity and patient safety in healthcare. Additionally, eHWDC 2023 will host a HIMSS Middle East Community Meeting for networking and professional interactions.
