Hackensack Meridian, Neosoma partner to use AI in brain cancer research and treatment

Hackensack Meridian Health and Neosoma, Inc., a medical technology firm, have announced a collaboration to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance brain cancer research and treatment. Neosoma HGG (High-Grade Glioma) software will be used in clinical practise throughout the health system’s network, commencing with Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center. The programme is an artificial intelligence-powered neuro-oncology technology that analyses brain tumour MRIs to help physicians make treatment decisions. It is intended to assist doctors in better planning surgeries, assessing post-procedural findings, guiding chemotherapy and immunotherapy therapies, and longitudinally tracking patients, which may lead to improvements in treatment and patient experience. The cooperation builds on the two organisations’ existing connection and is funded by the Bear’s Den incubation programme.
